Controlled Vibrations Incorporated (CVI), a member of MISTRAS Group, Inc., is looking for an ISO Category III – ASNT SNT-TC-1A Level II Vibration Analyst for conducting Predictive Maintenance Programs.

Must be able to walk down plants – establish a machinery list with pertinent data and build PdM databases.

Conduct route based data collection and analysis.

Write detailed reports and communicate with clients.

In–place dynamic balancing and laser alignment

Ability to trouble shoot machinery problems using various PdM Technologies.

Ability to conduct duel channel analysis is a plus.

Multi-Technology capable – Ultra Sonic – Level I, Infrared Thermography Electrical – Level I and Oil Analysis Level I.

Job requires 50% travel.

• A BS in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or a pure science (math, physics, materials) required.
• A Professional Engineer license.

• Must have experience in Process, Reliability, Maintenance, or Materials/Inspection.
• Must have substantial knowledge of major industry codes and standards applicable to Pressure Equipment, and the calculations contained therein (e.g., ASME VIII 1 & 2, ASME/ANSI B31, API 579, 580, 581, 620, 650, 653).
• Must possess sound judgment and analytical skills and be able to apply appropriate risk assessment methodologies and provide effective risk-based recommendations.
